Your home will probably be the biggest personal investment you make. As such the decision to purchase should be based on relevant information and good advice.

Most buyers rely only on a building society valuation report. The Consumers Association's WHICH? magazine and the Council of Mortgage Lenders both agree that this is usually unwise and a false economy. The inspection for a building society or bank valuation report is limited and the report is short, only providing information required by the LENDER.

REMEMBER - Always take independent advice

Use a Surveyor you have chosen, one who has no other interest in the transaction but to provide you with a report upon which you can make a considered judgment and decision about the proposed purchase.
